Well, I have no idea how this photo successfully appeared because the entire process was different from the method I used last night to insert the photo of my dog.  In any case, this is a quilt I recently finished, although it's been about four years in the making.  I had the entire top done and it just needed the binding.  I'm resolved to finish some of my UFOs.  Shameful, but some only need the binding.  I do the binding by machine.  If I were to enter it into competition of sone kind then I would do the binding by hand but these are for use in my hone.  It's from a kit I purchased from the Portsmouth Fabric Company at the quilt show in Lowell, Mass.  I have a fondness for their fabrics--mostly brights.

  1. It's truly gorgeous! I really love it. Interesting combination of fabrics!!

    1. Thank you, Terri. I love wild and bright, as I"m sure you know.

  2. Beautiful!
Are you still having problems uploading pictures??
All I do is have your computer on and plug your camera into your computer ( make sure camera is off ) and once your camera is plugged into the computer turn the camera on and it should automatically upload the pictures into iphoto. It will ask you if you want to keep originals or delete them, do what ever you like. Then turn off your camera, and it's done. Let me know if you need any help.

  3. Hi, beautiful quilt! I too love quilting and have vowed to work on my UFO's this year also. I found you from Terri's blog. I decorated an umbrella also. I thought yours was so cute! Now a new follower.

  4. This quilt is fantastic. Hoorah that you figured out how to do pictures.
